- Description
- Board of Directors of EBMUD are responsible for setting policy and making decisions pertaining to operation and maintenance of the water and sewage treatment systems serving much of the East Bay.
- Services
- Provides water service to 1.4 million people in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties, and sewage treatment for 650,000 people in Bayfront cities from San Leandro to Richmond; maintains recreational facilities and a trails system on 56,000 acres of watershed lands in the East Bay and Sierra Nevada foothills including campgrounds at Pardee and Camanche Reservoirs.
