Description
JCL recruits, trains, places, and support volunteers in JCL East Bay partner public and charter elementary schools (daytime and after school), helping students in K-3 grades learn to enjoy reading and improve comprehension.
Services
Offers one-on-one tutoring; volunteers commit to one hour per week.
JCL collects and distributes gently used or new children's books for ages 5-8 years old. Please contact Judy Pam-Bycel at jpbycel@jcrc.org
Offers four types of Parent Workshops
Trains parents to become tutors

Volunteers: All Ages. Teens under 16 years old can participate with a parent or other adult.
