Description: Nonprofit professional organization open to published writers, and those working toward publication, to provide writing and market information, and to promote fellowship among writers. Nine branches in Northern California, seven in Southern California.
Services: Meetings with speakers, workshops, panel discussions, conferences, support/critique groups, etc. Two support/critique groups meet monthly. Membership available at Active, Associate, Supporting and Youth levels with various benefits and at various due rates.

Meetings: Except for July, August, and December, we meet on the third Sunday of each month from 12:00 p.m. to 4p.m. at 1204 Preservation Park Way in Oakland (in the Robinson House Classrooms).
Publications: Write Angles, the monthly newsletter of the Berkeley Branch, and the CWC Bulletin, the bimonthly newsletter of the CWC
