- Description
- 65,000-acre park, with over 100 miles of hiking trails. Includes Bear Valley Visitor Center, Drake's Beach, Point Reyes Beach (also known as North Beach and South Beach), Point Reyes Lighthouse, and four backpacking campgrounds. Weekend and holiday bus shuttle (late December through mid-April) provides transportation from Drake's Beach parking lot to Point Reyes Lighthouse for whale watching and to Chiminey Rock for elephant seal watching (call for details). Shuttle runs every 20 minutes, 9:30m-3pm; adults: $7 roundtrip; children 15 years and under free.
