Description: The Alzheimer's Association is a nationwide organization, comprising more than 70 chapters and service areas united through a common mission. Their purpose is to further the strategic goals of the Association in local communities by enhancing care and support, increasing concern of Alzheimer's disease and awareness of the Association, advancing research, advocating for those affected by the disease, and increasing revenue to support the Association's overall mission.
Services: 24/7 Helpline, Information and Referrals, Caregivers Education, Professional Training, Support Groups for Caregivers and for Early Stage patients, Safety Services, and Advocacy.

Meetings: Support groups for caregivers, and an Early Stage Group for individuals, family members and couples, in Berkeley.
Publications: Alzheimer's Association Newsletter (quarterly)
