- Organization serving residents (and their families) of skilled nursing facilities and licensed residential care facilities for elderly by working to improve the quality of life for Alameda County's frail elderly.

- Serves long-term care, intermediate, geriatric, and psychiatric facilities in Alameda County with certified trained Ombudsman volunteers; Volunteers handle complaints, provide information and referrals, monitor conditions of care, and perform community outreach/education;
Volunteer training is 36 hours and requires a minimum commitment of one year. - Cost
