- Nonprofit organization promoting healthy communities by encouraging the productive use of city soil and improving access to fresh local produce.
- Services
- Urban Garden Center consists of five elements: a community farm (harvest goes to low-income seniors and volunteer gardeners), nursery, low-cost organic produce stand, harvest of backyard fruit trees (harvest goes to local homeless shelters), and regular free workshops and classes. Volunteers can drop-in anytime.
