- Volunteer-run, daily contact and support telephone service for people who live alone, are homebound, disabled, or convalescing from an illness, especially for retired, widowed, or senior citizens; enables disabled and elderly to remain in their own homes.
- Services
- Daily morning telephone call from Tele-Care office to greet and check on statuo of Tele-Care member. Alternate (neighbor, manager, friends, etc.) checks on Tele-Care member if there is problem or if there is no response.
Volunteer opportunities range from once a week callers, weekend callers, substitute callers, and office assistance. -
